I am VERY fussy about my hair and like it cut a specific style (not ordinary). I've only had 4 hairdressers in my whole lifetime. I needed a new hairdresser and so decided to try Scamps based on reviews. I have not been disappointed. The staff are great. The prices are great. And Mariola is an amazing hairdresser (A Perfectionist).

Came in to the salon for a consult for my year 12 formal and the Girls were extremely helpful and full of ideas would highly recommend this salon to all of my friends

Horrible experience got the only hairdresser that didn't like or want to talk and made me feel very uncomfortable. Then when the hair cut was finished it looks horrible and I absolutely hate it after spending $43 on a student budget I and really not happy

Terrible, don't waste your time or money! I used to see a few good stylists here but they kept leaving, and the remaining are completely inept! I took in a photo of a mid length choppy bob and have walked out with a bad males' cut! The back if literally less then a cm and the front about 2inches, despite my repeat requests that she leave it to sit just below my jawline! There is no layering so it sits heavily on my forehead and she cut half moons around my ears so it looks as if i have mutton chops! All this from a supposed 'senior stylist.' My repeated requests that she not take it any shorter were completely ignored and she couldnt translate even the general shape of the image to my hair, it looks as though I've messed up an at home bowl cut! Honestlt i have had a few bad haircuts throughout my time but this is ridiculous, it is truly terrible it isnt even the same length over my ears so i hate to think how it will grow out. I complained to which the manager suggested she could fix it, but you know once its cut you cant stick it back on!! To make it worse i was kept waiting over ten minutes as my stylist was busy 'fixing her chipped nail polish.' I couldnt believe it, the assistant was border line rude and scoffed even at my request for a glass on tap water while I waited. I will be spreading the word as far as I can.about how totally inept this salon is, and thank god i didn't get a colour done, as i hate to think what a debarcle that would have been! If you want to have your requests ignored and live with a haircut that looks like it was done by a drunk two year old, this is the salon for you, but if your after a haircut to your specification, or at least that looks half decent, youd be better off going to 'Just Cuts' or one of the other walk in salons, at least they have enough practice to cut nicely!

Worst haircut ever imaginable, after being seen by the rudest hairdresser I have ever come in contact with, having my wet hair brushed with a brush which is a huge no, having a brush smashed against my head, I came out looking like someone had shoved a bowl on my head and cut around it. It looked absolutely nothing like the picture and when I went back to complain I was told the same hairdresser could look at it in several hours and see if it 'needed fixing' and when I said it definitely needed fixing they just said they would look. I went to a different hairdresser later that day, had to pay for another haircut, and this other hairdresser was disgusted by what had happened. Went back to complain to a manager on the Monday and instead ended up having to speak to the same girl that cut it - no sympathy or apologies given and no one let me talk to the manager. Absolutely disgusted and wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Thank you for a waste of my time and money and for making me look ridiculous. Thank god the other salon was able to rectify the mistake and I now have a decent style and cut.

I have been to Scamps twice. The first time I took advantage of their super $99 package. This includes hair dying, cut and a multitude of other things (look on their web page for details). Today I went there to have a trim, wash and treatment done.
I could not be happier with their service. They are friendly. They listen to what you want to have done and make sure you are happy with the end result.
What I also love about Scamps is, they get retrained every three months, so they are always up to date with new techniques, styles and products.
I was there for 45 minutes getting looked after. I didn't have to wait at all. I have also never had a problem getting an appointment. They are a very busy salon, so this surprises me. My old hairdressing salon, I could never get an appointment. I would have to wait days to get in. And there service was nothing like Scamps.
Would highly recommend them. They are the best in Aberfoyle Park
And they have a beautitian on site as well. Now that's service. A day at the spa!
