The Shepparton Medical Centre (SMC) was established in 2010, the first purpose built teaching clinic in Australia, created to increase the quality and capacity of medical education in a rural setting. Since its inception, the SMC has been facilitating the wellbeing of our patients and students by focussing on patient centred care and outstanding clinical education. We deliver approximately 40,000 services to patients each year and support the community in a number of ways through outreach services in Residential Aged Care Facilities, engagement with secondary schools and other community organisations and contributing to primary care, impact research. We provide a broad range of services.
