We are locally owned and enthusiastic about establishing a practice on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, centrally and conveniently located, providing treatment for all your concerns relating to pain.
Ken is a highly trained and respected long term Osteopathic Practitioner with excellent credentials and a real concern for your well-being. Dr Ken Burke, Osteopath has been in private practice for 33 years in Sydney and Coffs Harbour and has now relocated to the Sunshine Coast. "Over this period of time I have done various manipulative and non-manipulative techniques that enable me to treat a diverse range of conditions." Ken’s skills range from taking a structural assessment and approach as well as using Cranial, Balanced Ligamentous release and Counter strain techniques. Do I need a referral to see an Osteopath?
No, you can personally make an appointment to see your Osteopath. However, Osteopaths can treat people referred by their Doctor under a care plan for a number of visits.
How long does an appointment take?
The initial appointment will go from 40 to 60 minutes and subsequent visits will be 40 minutes in duration.

What happens at the first appointment?
We will take a case history, and do a physical examination so as to provide the most accurate diagnoses.
Can I get treatment from you while I am pregnant?
Yes certainly, at any stage of your pregnancy right up to full term. The treatment method we use allows us to treat you whilst you are lying on your side or your back. Additionally, babies can be treated for colic, reflux and twisted necks.
Should I bring X-rays, scans etc. to my appointment?
Yes, any additional diagnostic information you can bring will be helpful in determining the best type of treatment strategy for you.
