Woodlea was established in 1978 by Jim Nicholson, to provide seedlings to the forestry industry. Woodlea has steadily grown, and currently produces seedlings for the forestry industry, landcare and revegetation projects, private farmers and the wine industry, as well as the general public.
Woodlea prides itself on excellence and aims to supply high quality plants at competitive prices. Woodlea has been recognised within our industry. Woodlea has been awarded the “Best Medium Production Nursery” from NGIT for the last four years running. Woodlea was the second Tasmanian nursery to be NIASA accredited and is the only VINA accredited nursery supplying grapevines to Tasmanian vineyards and the public. Woodlea Nursery stocks a wide variety of seedlings, trees and shrubs, and supplies them to forestry, Landcare groups and revegetation projects.
