We work to contribute our client’s happiness, satisfaction, fitness, enjoyment, success and passion with horses. Forest Park Riding & Equitation School has been run by Grant and Heather Hughes for over 30 years. Forest Park Riding & Equitation School has three sections - agistment, riding school and performance horses. We currently have around 50 full time & part time employees working for us, delivering Canberra the highest quality equine services available.
The overriding goal at Forest Park Riding & Equitation School is to share their love of horses and horse riding with everyone wishing to be involved in equine pursuits no matter how old or young. The riding school caters for both riders who own their own horse and also for those who do not.
We have 30 school horses on which our instructors give lessons to our clients. Our beloved school horses are a wonderful mix of personalities, colours and temperaments to suit all standards of riders. Our performance horses have been bred or purchased by Grant and Heather and have been educated to competition standard, competing in show jumping, dressage and hacking.
