Is Coral Coast Cabinets a licensed operator?
Absolutely! We are fully licensed with the BSA as all cabinet makers should be. Our BSA licence number is 1087450.
What about drawers?
As above, we only use Blum brand. The design of today's modern kitchens can include draws everywhere including corners and under sink. The use of the premium Blum product allows these features as well as electronic draws and soft close draws.
How do I go about getting you to do a quote?
Bring in a plan to our office in Hill Street, Bundaberg, alternatively give us a call and we will come to you. In the showroom we have various samples of finishes (2-pac, melamine, stone, solid timber, etc.) and we can also show you different hardware options (handles, draw systems, etc.).
Do you supply tapware, ovens cooktops etc.?
No. We work in with the local appliance and plumbing suppliers to make sure your new appliances fit perfectly.
How long will it take till my new kitchen is installed?
Once the final design is in place, expect to wait 2 - 3 weeks for your new kitchen to be carefully installed. Some finishes and materials may add a week or so to this schedule. We can plan all this well ahead and make sure your new cabinetry is installed at a time to suit you.
What kind of hinges do you use?
We only use the highest quality Blum product from Austria (yes it's still made in Austria). I have always used Blum. The lifetime warranty and smooth action make it a no-brainer.
Is particle board crap and do you use it?
Yes, we do use particle board but it is high moisture resistant particle board, if moisture is your concern with the use of particle board. It is also worth noting that Coral Coast Cabinets also uses MR (moisture resistant) MDF where this product is used. Is particle board crap? Non moisture resistant board certainly is no good where moisture is present and would only ever be used by amateurs, as the price difference is quite small.
