History Lawson Hyland was formed in 1983 when Wayne Lawson and Neville Hyland decided to merge their two independent practices into one. Carolyn Clegg joined the practice as a director in 1993 retiring in 1997. At this point both Mark and Jason joined the practice as accountants, coincidently both starting on the same day. In July 2000, Mark became a director. In 2003 Neville decided to semi-retire; he has since fully retired. In 2008, Jason became a director at which point Wayne semi-retired. Mark and Jason have continued to operate as a two-partner firm since then.
