We pride ourselves on the quality of our eye exams and the care taken by our optometrists, we are a very health and patient focussed practice.       How long does the appointment go for?

      Allow 45 minutes to an Hour for the appointment in case dilation is needed.


      What is a dilation?

      Dilation is where the optometrists puts drops in the eyes to make the pupils bigger. This is required in certain cases; You will find your reading and distance will be a bit blurry for up to 4 hours


      How much does an appointment cost?

      The cost of a regular 45 minute appointment is $99.90. This 45 minute eye test includes a comprehensive eye health check and photos of the back of your eyes. You are eligible for a medicare rebate for your appointment, which we can claim in store. On average you will be approximately $40 out of pocket for a standard eye test, however this can vary depending on your medicare rebate amount. Additional fees apply for longer appointments and specialised testing such as OCT and visual fields testing.

      Amazing range of frames and friendly staff!

      I was very impressed by the service at Look of Australia, the staff were friendly and helpful, they had an amazing range of frames and my eye test was thorough and everything was well explained by the optometrist.
