Port Arthur Historic Site Felons Restaurant

This area of Tasmania is amazing. You can get lost in this historical site for hours / days. In my opinion it is a must for any Australian who is vaguely interested in our history and colonization. The guides here are great and extremely friendly aand always willing to explain some obscure facts. Loved it.

This is a fascinating historical site to visit. There's few places left of this scale that still have such a strong connection with Australia's penal colony era, and so this one is well worth the visit.

Port Arthur is larger than we expected so you can happily spend a few hours here. It even includes a short boat cruise around the nearby waters.

Whilst we didn't do it, they also offer evening ghost tours which we heard can be pretty fun. Something to consider perhaps!
