About Us Beresfield and District Community Care Inc. provide a range of support services in the Lower Hunter Region, to assist the frail, aged and younger people with a disability to remain independent in their home for as long as they choose. Carers are also supported in their vital role. Services We Offer Carers Group Carers Group Centre Based Day Care Friendship Club Domestic Assistance House Cleaning Home Maintenance Includes Lawn mowing and Gardening Individual Transport To pre-arranged appointments - including medical, social & shopping days Meals on Wheels Including a meal available for every day of the week and delivered Monday, Wednesday and Friday or frozen meals Personal Care Assisting with Showering, Shaving and other personal needs. Shopping Group/Individual/Assisted Social Support Outings, Brunch Club, Calendar NDIS NDIS is the National Disability Insurance Scheme- a new way of providing community linking and individualised support for people with permanent and significant disability, their families and carers. The NDIS aims to give people with disability and their carers more choice and control over the support they receive.
