I had taken my car to a local automatic place on the Central Coast and was advised it would cost over $5,500 as the transmission needed replacing. My daughter's driving instructor recommended Lake Macquarie Automatic Transmissions. I contacted them and they found a transmission for less than half the price, also advising me that if it didn't need a transmission they would let me know. The car is a 2004 model which I bought for my daughter who is on her L's so I couldn't spend too much on it. I was more than happy to have the transmission they had found put in but when the car was looked at it I was advised the car's transmission just need a service. It cost me $319.00, it is going perfectly. Honest, reliable and friendly people. Thank you so much, Julie.

A big thank you to Brian and Byron for thier professionalism in
repairing my amarok.I had it diagnosed by Lambton Automatics and they mis
diagnosed it and it cost me $760.00. I then took it to Cardiff Volkswagon where they charged me $ 180.00 to look at it.They also mis diagnosed and quoted $6800 plus 6 weeks wait for parts.Brian had my amarok running better within the hour.They completely repaired my vehicle for less than a third of what volkswagon quoted and they were wrong in thier diagnosis so it would have cost me more to repair it. Was recommended by a friend who has all his cars serviced here for years.
Had issues with a Subaru CVT with low ks. Told it needed a rebuild. Took to another place and had it serviced. 50k now driven and still going and 6500 in my pocket
