What does an Australian Apprenticeship Centre do?
Australian Apprenticeship Centre's are contracted by the Australian Government to provide information, administration services and support to employers, trainee's and apprentices.
Where is the training centre located?
Just 15 minutes from the City Unit 3 / 190 Glynburn Road, Tranmere, opposite the K-mart Shopping Centre. Plenty of free parking near by the training centre, lunch facilities, complimentary coffee and tea supplied.
Do I need to have a national police clearance before I can start the course?
No you don't need a clearance to start your security course but we advise you to check with OCBA if you have any concerns related to your offender history before you decide to register. There are also preclusion laws related to association with certain person's that may prevent you from obtaining a security license. Call 1300 300 725 to find out more.

How can I enrol in a course?

How can you apply for a trainee-ship?
You must be employed before you can apply for a trainee-ship. There are also eligibility requirements depending on the type of qualification you want to complete and your individual circumstances. You can make inquiries about your eligibility by contacting an Australian Apprenticeship Centre. Once you have chosen your qualification and you are sure you have met eligibility requirements your employer will need to contact an Australian Apprenticeship Centre to arrange contracts of training.
