Thanks to decades in the industry, our local family-owned business offers the expertise and ability to handle any type of electrical job. Coming from humble beginnings, Matt and Tracy bought GJ Appliance & Electrical Service in 2008 and continue to function as the sole directors of the company. We employ over 12 local staff including electrical technicians, apprentices, trades assistants and administration staff.

Appear to be the true value solar support people in Tasmania. Had inverter show no power. Contacted true value, informed them of fault and that possibly isolator (switch near panels) or inverter itself. Ten weeks later, G J turn up with new replacement inverter. They check isolator and find it's burnt out. They replace it, power up and the original inverter powers up and all appears fine. A few days later I come home and find they have replaced the inverter while I was out with a second hand scratched one. Why? No idea. So I phone G J and then I get a call from true value asking if they can swap it back and I say yes. Then... nothing. They don't turn up.

Disapointed that unable to service or repair a product Koolsola Air Conditioner that was sold and installed just over 3 years ago which should have lasted at least 10 years. This product no longer has anyone in Tasmania able to repair or replace parts. Its not good customer service to refer to the suppliers call centre which was first of all disconnected then when the correct number discovered refers you back to GJ Electrical for repair who were not interested in providing the service. Also not good to fail to respond to a request for service the product over 6 months ago when a problem occurred which may have been the cause of the final failure. Two stars only because excellent and friendly service when installing product but no stars for follow up or response to request for service.
