Established in 1996, Coomera Car Care is a family-owned and operated business based in Upper Coomera. We operate across the entire region, covering all the neighbouring areas. We are accredited by the RACQ as a reliable automotive repairer. We have more than 25 years of experience and maintain high standards of quality. We are equipped with the skills and equipment to carry out complete mechanical services on all your vehicles.
Our services include diagnostics, alignments, repair and replacement of cooling and heating systems and air conditioning systems, changeovers, cleaning, de-carboning, disc machining, engine rebuilding, flushing, flywheel machining, fuel conversions, gas analysis, general servicing, logbook servicing, LPG repairs, recharging, reconditioning, resizing, restorations, testing, tune-ups, upgrades, and more. We also provide blue slips, e-safety checks, emission checks, green slips, LPG registrations, go checks, roadworthy certificates, and safety checks.

Absolutely! All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 month or 10,000 kms.

How long are safety certificates valid?
Certificates are valid for 2 months or 2,000 kilometres (whichever comes first) from the date of issue.
What is a safety certificate?
In Queensland a Roadworthy Certificate is called a Safety Certificate. A safety certificate is required when a registered light vehicle is offered for sale or when re-registering an unregistered vehicle. A safety certificate is issued after a vehicle passes a minimum safety standard inspection. The inspection covers the basic things that could affect the safe operation of the vehicle such as: tyres, brakes, steering, suspension, body rust or damage, windscreen and lights.

Our address is 30/3 Dalton Street, Upper Coomera. We are situated on the western side of the M1 Motorway off exit 54.

We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa and MasterCard.
What are your operating hours?
We are open Monday to Friday from 7.30am – 4.30pm. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays and Public Holidays.
Are you authorised to carry out Roadworthy (Safety) Inspections?
Yes we are an Approved Inspection Station for Safety Inspection Certificates, these inspections take approximately 1 hour (bookings essential) and prices are: Motor Vehicle (up to 4.5t GVM):$77 Trailers and Caravans (over 0.75t up to 3.5t ATM):$50 Motorcycles:$50 Caravan Gas Certificate:$110 What payment methods to you accept? We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa and MasterCard.
Do you carry out pre-purchase inspections?
Yes, we do! If you are thinking about purchasing a second-hand vehicle you will want to know that you are getting what you pay for. For a small fee we can give you an honest opinion and advise you on the vehicle’s condition.
Do you have somewhere I can wait while my car is serviced or repaired?
Yes, we have a waiting room upstairs from our workshop if you would like to wait for your vehicle.
