      With experience over 18 years, Gopher Directional Drilling Services is the proven leader in underground pipe and conduit installations for the Wide Bay region. We have the expertise and equipment to complete your project on-time and on budget. We also offer a range of additional civil construction services.

      Gopher Directional Drilling Services was formed over twelve years ago, specializing in horizontal directional drilling. To support this work we have recently purchased of a 2009 model, Vermeer D24x40II series navigator directional drill, with 200 metres of drill rods and rock tool (RATT Tool). We have all relevant workplace health and safety procedures in place and have the necessary current work cover and public liability insurances.

      Hydro vacuum extraction is a non-destructive method of excavation that uses high pressure water and vacuum to remove the soil. This technique is often used to expose high risk underground services such as fibre optic cables, gas and electrical cables. Hydro vacuum extraction can also be used when conventional excavation is not suitable (i.e. excavations for a fence with fibre optic in close proximity).
