Formal Finish Drycleaners

I have always found them to have good attention to detail. Would highly recommend them.

The title says it all :) they do a great job and they’re very nice.

My partner and I have been coming here for the last 5-6 years now. Was so disappointed to see the reviews as we’ve had nothing but great service. Dry cleaning, repairs have all been spot on with no issues.

Dropped off my dress here last week, had some standard bronzer stains which are easily removable in my experience. Went to pick up, and found my dress was still very dirty - obviously due to lack of thoroughness on their part, as other parts of the dress were totally clean. I respectfully refused to pay them full price given the job was only half done, and the owner grabbed my white dress from the bench, flung it on the ground and proceeded to swear at me and tell me to 'get out'. All the while, customers were coming and going, and he continued to yell at me that I would pay full price or I would not be getting my dress. He called me stupid and told me to f*** off! I don't think I have ever had such an awful customer service experience in my life - considering I myself was not rude and felt I was well within my rights to complain about their half-done service.

Needless to say, the lady owner allowed me to pay a discounted price, but told me 'don't come back' as I left. Like I ever would! No way to treat your customers. Disgusting behaviour.

Still not open.. Please give me back my drycleaning!!

No pre warning about closing for nearly a month after christmas!! Whats the point of taking contact details if you don't use them?? Not even an answering machine to leave a message!! Still closed and still have no work clothes!!

I've gone to Formal Finish twice - both times through desperation and neither time has been a good experience. For the price - the job is neither quick or done well.

Fast and friendly service and are willing to take on tough jobs - these guys once saved a white jacket of mine which had been covered in tomato sauce. It came back looking like it was brand new which I didn't think would be possible. They also sell a nice little selection of ties if you find yourself needing one on short notice.
