Greater City Fencing

This is my current situation. In July 2024.They installed 4 months after I paid the 10% deposit. (The scheduled installation date was postponed as they were not prepared.)

The height of the gate installed was lower than what I ordered and there was only one drop bolt on the double door, so when the gate is open it won’t stay open and swings around, which is dangerous.

The gate installation was so poorly done.

I have called and emailed Greater City gate company many times over the last 3 months asking them to come back and fix their poor workmanship, but they have not come back to fix it yet. Now my phone calls and emails are being ignored.

It has been more than 6 months, they have received the full amount of money but have not completed the job.

Clear instructions about the gate dimensions were given and photos were sent to Greater City to explain the job. There is no excuse for getting the job wrong.

I cannot recommend this unprofessional and dishonest gate company. We have paid for something we can not use.

The team from Greater City Fencing did an excellent job removing our old front fence and gates and replacing them with a rail and emu wire fence and steel and emu wire manual sliding gate. This the second time we've used them. They replaced a wooden backyard fence with a colourbond fence after the severe winds a couple of years ago. Our neighbours also used them to replace damaged wooden fence with colourbond fence. Both jobs have been done very well. We'd recommend them.

I have been trying to get two quotes from this business for over a month now, they keep promising to but when contacted they just make excuses. I have even said to just say if they can't could they just let me know and will go elsewhere but they insisted they can. They take all your personal details and then ghost you which feels really dodgy.

After driving to pick up something 3 times that wasn’t ready. I found that most of the powder coating was actually done with spray cans. Gave them a second chance and they did it again.

Just had 2 fences built on 2 different properties and am extremely happy with the quote and the job done. Tony done a terrific job and the fence and fence and gates look absolutely fantastic, better than I ever anticipated. I am so grateful for the great job done. Other fencing company would not even come out to do a quote as they considered the job too small. For a job well done, with skill and knowledge, I recommend this fencing company.

Great job. Tricky fenceline but the City Fencing guys got the job done really well. Hard working and great to have around. Excellent to deal with.

Thanks so much for getting the back fence replaced so quickly. Had the old one down and a new one up before the end of the day. No more dog escapes!
