On Monday, 9th March, I attended the Emergency Department of the University Hospital Geelong. Although I had a fairly minor leg wound, I was treated with the utmost care and respect. From the triage nurse to the radiographer to the doctor (Luke), their professionalism, friendliness and kindness made the whole experience a very pleasant one. Thank you to all.

On Monday I had a total hip replacement, & I can't praise the staff highly enough!
From the surgeon to the cleaners, everyone was so friendly & accommodating, which made my stay as comfortable as possible considering the circumstances!
They are all under incredible pressure & stress and we are blessed to have the best health system in the world!
Just remember that if you go through the 'public' system' then you don't have to pay so be grateful!
If you have to blame someone for the failures then direct your criticism towards the government, they make the rules!
