Ordinarily I am a fan of Grilld. Their burgers are tasty and I especially like the chips with dipping sauce. There are claims that their burgers are healthier because of the oil and quality of the ingredients. But take note that not all branches are up to the same sort of quality. Fortunately Grilld Hawthorn is one of the better ones and Im happy to be back here. Just like the one in Camberwell, this place is filled with energetic folk, but once in a while there is one staff member who overdoes which actually just ends up having the opposite effect and really annoys us. But I guess at least hes trying :)

A MINNIE MOO AND A COKE

At Grill'd in on Glenferrie rd you walk through the door, order a burger and a drink and youve got it in less than 10 minutes. The kids pack is great value, and includes a burger, chips, drink and coloured pencils. For adults, both burgers and salads are great options and are freshly made using quality ingredients. As for chips, well, you can tell yourself theyre slightly healthier than normal chips because they have some herbs sprinkled on them :)As other reviewers have noted, the seating arragement is good and includes both indoor and outdoor tables. But the best thing about Grill'd besides the burgers is the Charity tokens - a great way for a business to give back to the community. A pretty good burger jointif you ask me.

I have eaten at a few of the Grill'd franchises and this is a standout.

There is less fat on the burgers the salad component is crisper and the chips are fantastic. I ate here first and although I have tried some others none compare.

I return occasionally just to make sure it is not just me romantising it but each time I am impressed. There is also a selection of newspapers to read whist you wait then eat your burger.

I am hoping that the other can lift their game and match this standard as it is getting harder for me to return.
