Bancrofts Dry Cleaning

This would have to be the shittest dry cleaners in Victoria!
They have absolutely appalling customer service!
If you value your items don't go here, unless you want them damaged or lost!
As soon as you walk in the door the staff look at you like they want to avoid you or look like a moth caught in the head lights!
After 6 months of using this company & giving them my credit card details for 24 hour collection, they have automatically charged me for 2 damaged shirts & one lost shirt, none of the staff apologise & strive to improve their customer service, they simply provide you with an excuse similar to "it's not my fault" and then give you paper work for you to take to a justice of the peace to fill out the value of the lost or damaged item.

Worst dry cleaners in Australia, I feel stupid for giving them the benefit of the doubt, I have no idea how they have lasted in South Yarra or Toorak, I'm the most down to earth & understanding person but this companies service is beyond a joke. Don't go here!

(READ BEFORE USING BANCROFTS)1 star is already a high praise for these dry cleaners(*i'm only allowed to use a minimum of one star). I have used Bancrofts a few times mainly for daily wear and not stain removal. Let me sum up my experience, if you want to pay premium dollar for low quality dry cleaning and service please go ahead and use Bancrofts. I have spent a fair amount of money having my clothes cleaned there, with a few unremoved stains every now and then.

There are better places out there, just find it, heed my warning, this place is a money pit that does not provide the service to justify any of the costs. I suggest the brands that recommend Bancrofts and use Bancrofts (Alannah Hill, Bettina Liano, Collette Dinnigan, Harrolds, Henry Bucks, Karen Millen, Kookai, Pierucci and Scalan & Theodore) to disassociate themselves with such a disgusting and disgraceful business that will only create distrust from your clients and future frustrations and inevitably drag down your own branding. If you have been mistreated and feel cheated like myself, inform the brands above that associate themselves with Bancrofts to stop using their service. In Australia due to the population we are limited to these few businesses, stop using 3rd tier businesses and support ones that actually care about their clients, it's simple as that. You may be using Bancrofts and have not had any issues yet but it is an eventuality.

Incredibly disappointed with my experience with Bancrofts. I paid $78 for a special dry clean and the dress came back with no improvements to a stain - but with damage to the stitching on the cap sleeve. When I collected and paid nothing was mentioned that the stain hadn't come out - I only realised when I opened the bag at home. I called and they said to come back but when there again the man was extremely unhelpful. Find a dry cleaner who cares and don't go to Bancrofts is my strong recommendation to anyone.
