Geelong Removals

Do not use this company!! If I could give zero stars, I would.

1. Their quote was not clear and they ended up being way more expensive than all of their competitors.

2. We tried to use their packing service. They took more hours than what they had quoted due mostly to the fact that the guy who seemed to be in charge being on his phone for 75% of the time they were there. They also packed up things I asked them not to and left things that should have been packed.

3. They took an hour extra to actually arrive at our house on moving day - long smoko somewhere?

4. The guy backing the first truck in took a chunk out of our letterbox at a rental property.

5. We still had to do three more trips on our own to move the stuff they left.

6. We are now going to set up things like beds and trampolines and there are parts missing everywhere.

When we tried to talk to them about the issues, they were very quick to try and defend themselves with no apologies, acknowledgments or offers to make amends. Steer clear!

We were very pleased with Chris and Tim who arrived on time and got things under way. They worked extremely hard and efficiently all day, with a very cheerful friendly attitude. Things were put where we wanted them in the new place and nothing was a trouble for them. Their can do attitude minimised a lot of the stress of moving, We are very happy to recommend them.

A wonderful company. We had the lovely Lyn come to our house to give us a quote before we moved something that previous companies failed to do. The boys that moved our things were extremely professional and nothing was to hard for them to do. Everything was put where we wanted it to go and nothing was broken or scratched. Very friendly and funny. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to move our things. We will definitely use them next time we move.

Chris & Matt were professional, courteous, friendly & on time and as promised. They worked so well together and were super efficent. Geelong Removals were fantastic. Chris and Matt arrived on time and proceeded to pack our items onto the truck efficiently and professionally. When moving from Melbourne, I chose Geelong Removals after calling a few businesses in the area. From the initial phone call, through until the follow-up phone call three days after the move, it was customer-first all the way. Costs were not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive - one company I spoke to quoted me 50% more than what Geelong Removals did - but from a value for money perspective, absolutely no complaints. Adam and Nathan were friendly and worked their backsides off all day. Happy to help beyond the obvious. When calculating the cost, even drink breaks were deducted from the overall total. Absolutely recommend these guys to anyone looking to move to, from or within the Geelong area

Not happy! My partner got completely ripped off was quoted 3800 for the move and he flew to geelong after his father passed away to pack up everything and move it to northern nsw and at last minute was told he had to pay an extra $950 within a few business days or he wouldnt get his stuff and would be charged more to leave it in storage! I am disgusted as we were quoted a certain price and gave them the measurements and everything of the space that was needed. We budgeted our whole month to get the items up then had to come up with that sort of money. Its wrong and shame on geelong removalists!
