When well taught, dance will lay a good foundation for any form of physical activity and in fact, for life itself.
At Dance Creations, we nurture the whole child through a blend of technique, creativity, and care. Our non-competitive, inclusive studio celebrates kindness, joy, and self-expression in every class. From playful beginner ballet to advanced ballet, we offer age-appropriate programs that support physical, emotional, and artistic growth. Our passionate teachers create a safe, welcoming space where students build confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love of dance. Classes are conveniently located in Rossmoyne, Bull Creek and Melville. Join us and experience the joy of love in motion.
Dance Creations offers a series of ballet classes designed to inspire your child’s unique creative expression, supporting self-confidence and growth through dance, music, mime & song (for the younger children aged 2.5 years – 5 years), who then go on to graduate to the more formal learning about the technique and art of classical ballet (for children aged 6 to 19 years). Our point of difference is our holistic approach … put simply, we offer a delicate balance between technique and artistry.
At the foundation there is acceptance and kindness, and a strong base of movement skills that will develop your child for dance and also for life. Artistry is part of the learning and is developed alongside technique, creating an appreciation for beautiful movement and inspiring artistic expression. As your dancer journeys through the programs they will build upon the foundations, sequentially layering technique, and confidence in their ability to move with a freedom of expression, enhanced by the knowledge of how their body moves in space.
Each program is developed to encompass the whole child. The social/emotional aspects are equally important as the physical and cognitive development of your child. Testimonial: Dance Creations focus on so much more than just the dance, and the girls love their class each week, love their teachers and are enriched by the whole experience. - Catherine

Do you offer a complimentary class?
I offer a trial class. You are more than welcome to come along to a class and see if what we do suits your child. If you and your child are happy, then the first class is part of the term fee. If it's not what you are looking for, then there is no charge.
Do i need to re-enrol each term?
No, your original enrolment carries over each term, so there is no need to re-enrol. If for whatever reason you are not returning I ask that you please let me know, as I often have wait lists with people keen to join at the beginning of a term.
what is your policy on parents taking photographs/video during class?
This becomes a very sensitive area. I don't mind if parents take pictures of their children during class time, but I do ask that you must check with the parents of the other children. I usually find most people don't have a problem with this, but everyone's view needs to be respected and if there is someone that does not wish to have their child included in any photo's, you must ensure that their child is not photographed.
Are parents are allowed to watch classes?
am happy for the parents of children enrolled in the Fairy Floss Ballet classes to observe and to participate with the very young children if needed. The ideal would be for children to participate without the need to visit their parents during the session as we are trying to establish some independence. Students in the 4 to 5 years old class would be attending kindy at school and are used to participating in activities without their parents.
Does my child need a uniform to start?
No, if you don't have a uniform to start your child can wear something that is comfortable (i.e. leggings, top, bare feet) so they can move freely. If they have a special outfit, please feel free to wear this.
