Do I need a referral to see a Podiatrist?
Generally you will not require a referral to be seen by a Podiatrist. However there are always exceptions to the rule; If you are seeking treatment as a veteran under a Gold or White Card. If you are seeking treatment under the Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC), we will also require 'pre-approval' to see you as a Workers' Compensation client. If you are unsure, please give us a call.
What should I bring to my initial appointment?
Referral letter (if applicable) including Care Plan & a list of medications Private Health Fund Card and/or Medicare Card Previous Orthotics/ insoles regular closed footwear & any you have specific wear patterns or cause foot pain Imaging including x-rays, ultrasounds, and MRI scans (including reports), appropriate clothing for foot and lower limb assessment (i.e. long pants that can be rolled up or shorts).
Do you do bulk billing?
We are not a bulk billing practice.
Do you offer discounts to pensioners?
We offer concession rates if you hold one of the following government issued cards. These cards must not have expired: - Pensioner Concession Card - Health Care Card - Commonwealth Seniors Health Card
