      Cottesloe Preventive Medicine Clinic was established by David Woolcott in 1985 who has successfully been practicing naturopathy In Cottesloe for 40 years. Together with Martina Neun, a Germany and Australia trained young naturopath, the clinic provides a dynamic team combining life and work experience & clinical research, with emphasis, intuition, and great knowledge.

      David Woolcott has been in full time practise as an Naturopath for over 34 years and involved in natural medicine for over 40 years . His aim is to prevent illness rather then treating it, but of course he does that as well. However, he treats the person as a whole and not just the symptoms. David uses Iridology (Germany Method) , Live Blood Diagnostic(Dr. Trevor Douglas), Polysan Test and extensive case History, to help him to find the cause of the problem. David prescribes nutritional and herbal medicine, homoeopathic and isopathic remedies ( Sanum Therapy).

      David is well known around the world as a leader in Natural Medicine and has strong links with the Dr Thomas Rau in Paracelsus Clinic in Switzerland.David has many service awards: In 1995 he was awarded outstanding service award in appreciation of contribution for education in Natural Therapies by the Australian Institute of Holistic Medicine and in 1999 a community service award in recognition of services rendered to promote natural medicine in the community.

      David is a founding member of the Counsellors Association of the Preventive Medicine Movement 1985, he worked on the board as a state committee member in W.A from 1985 right up until 1989/ 1990 when the association become the Complementary Medicine Association (CMA) in 1989/1990, David continued to serve as a Board Member in the state committee right up to 1996 and in 1996 he was elected to served on the Federal Executive Board of the Complementary Medicine Association (CMA) for several years. In this time as the Federal Executive, David was awarded The Federal Executive Service Award in Recognition of the valuable contribution he made to the Association while serving on the Federal Executive Board.       What are the different ailments you cater to?

      Different ailments that we cater to are immune problems, high blood pressure, chronic fatigue, viruses, cold, flu, irritable bowel syndrome & food skin allergies.


      What is naturopathy?

      Naturopathy means to use natural, alternative and holistic means to help and support one's body to restore homoeostasis (balance).


      What German therapy do you use?

      The German homoeopathic remedies used are produced by the company Sanum-Kehlbeck and the therapy is known as Sanum Therapy. We use this therapy to treat patients.


      Do you charge for consultations?

      We do charge for consultation however, there are health rebates on consultation fees available.


      Which areas do you service?

      We service in Cottesloe, Australia.


      How do you test the blood samples?

      We will look at your blood using dark field microscopy based on the Enderlein Method. This means we are on the lookout for certain bacterial development and activity in your blood sample. The shape and appearance of red and white blood cells can also help him to understand the current state of your immune system, antioxidant activity, levels of certain vitamins, and your body's pH status.

      12 month review

      I have been seeing David for almost 12 months now due to having issues with my immune system, namely frequent sickness that lasted 2 weeks and at least once a month. Since seeing David and following his advice, my immune system has greatly improved. I feel more energetic, focused and generally healthier. Most importantly, I get sick much less frequently. Having gone down this road I can see the massive benefits it has made to my life and wellbeing.

      My experience was almost exactly similar to James Nidel's 1 star review.
      Several unnecessary rude comments.
      A long list of expensive supplements that had to be purchased from him.
      No option to see him virtually.
      Overall poor service and an unpleasant experience.

      Started off like any decent conversation, however was rude and started throwing snarky comments after I declined further service. Also supplements were very expensive, around 500 dollars a month, for simple multivitamins like vitamin C/E or "high quality baking soda". Also wanted me to come in every 2 weeks to "catch up", sounds like a money grab honestly.

      David has done wonders for my son who has ADD. My son no longer takes any presription drugs but through a change of diet and natural supplements, he has managed his condition well with no harmful side effects.

      I have been a long term sufferer of migraine headaches and constantly living on painkillers. David has treated this and I very seldom suffer from these headaches.

      Found the treatment I received for constipation and leaky gut to be very expensive. Did not find feel any benefit after 2 weeks.
