ABC Bobcat & Bitumen Service is a trusted family-owned business based in Warwick, Queensland, offering comprehensive earthmoving and bitumen sealing solutions since 1994. Founded by David Faulkner, the company began with a single bobcat and tipper, gradually expanding its fleet to include advanced machinery such as a Komatsu PC20 mini excavator, Allatt SP50 paver, and Caterpillar 631 elevating scraper. Specializing in bitumen spraying, asphalt sealing, trenching, and rural gravel driveway construction, ABC Bobcat & Bitumen Service also provides equipment transport services with a 45-foot drop deck and various tippers. Their commitment to quality workmanship and competitive rates has earned them a strong reputation in the region.
I, David Faulkner started ABC Bobcat & Bitumen Service in October 1994 with one bobcat & tipper. When I started doing more trenching I purchased another bobcat with hi flow hydraulics & trencher to carry out the jobs more efficiently.When more skid steer operators started to appear in the area, I saw an opening for a mini excavator so I purchased a Komatsu PC20 which helped us pick up underground conduit laying for Telstra & Ergon. We are qualified in pit & pipe construction & cable hauling.
I saw an opening for Bitumen sealing driveways & car parks I purchased a small bitumen sprayer & roller as the jobs became larger I purchased a small grader to trim the areas easier. We started to get asked if we could do ASPHALT sealing so I purchased an Allatt SP50 Paver & Sakai TS31 rubber tire roller to cover another aspect of the business.
When we started to get more call for rural gravel driveways, I purchased a larger grader & padfoot roller. We added a 570 John Deere grader with 12 foot blade, 13.5 t padfoot roller , a 8t smooth drum roller & 15t excavator to raise & load gravel to construct these roads. We won a contract with S.D.R.C to construct a land fill trench at the Yangan Waste Facility to remove 25,000 cubic metres of soil for this job.
