Albert Park

I come here every year to drive around, right before F1 starts! This park drive is amazing; its one of the best F1 venues as you can clearly tell from the tv. There are not many places where you are allowed to drive or even walk on the tracks and fortunately I have the opportunity to do so every single year! This park is not just for F1 though, its also a fantastic public sports facility (walks, jogs, cycling, swimming, indoor netball) and home to one of the best restaurants in Melbourne The Point.

This is a fantastic parkland close to the Melbourne CBD. The lake is unique and provides a great running tract, about 5kms circumference. Heaps to do other than wondering the lake though. Multiple BBQ facilities and parks and other activities for the kids. Beware the swans with young ones. They can be very aggressive,!!!
