I purchased a new electronic reclining chair in 2020. Two months after it was delivered the chairs motor stopped working and I made arrangements for repair. During the repair process I discovered that Domayne had given me the floor stock chair instead of a new chair, as purchased. I contacted the store manager and requested a new chair or a refund. This was refused. I took the matter to NCAT and a judgement was made against Domayne, specifically that they had "engaged in conduct that is misleading or deceptive or likely to mislead or deceive." NCAT ordered a full refund. Domayne refused to abide by the orders and I went to the NSW Local Courts to enforce them. The Local Court issued orders for payment and Domayne still refuses to pay the refund. The saga continues.

I am extremely disappointed with the service and treatment I received after placing a very large order with you (DOMAYNE ALEXANDRIA). After being given in writing a specific timeframe for delivery I was then called and told this would not be met. When I asked to cancel my order as it is extremely important that I receive these items by a certain date I was told that if I cancel I would be charged an enormous cancellation fee. I would be charged this fee even though YOU were not fulfilling the terms YOU agreed to! This is deplorable customer service and extremely disappointing considering the amount of business I have given you. You can be certain I will never shop with you again and I wish to be contacted to have this matter dealt with properly.
