Ross is an excellent driving instructor. I can’t thank him enough for helping me get through my driving test in the first attempt. He is very professional during the lessons and was quite knowledgable on what’s required to be done on the test day. I had bad experience with my first instructor so I could clearly see the difference in my confidence level after I started lessons with Ross. He helped me boost my confidence and made sure that I learnt everything I needed to know and be well prepared for the practical test. Couldn’t ask for a better driving instructor and prices are also reasonable compared with other driving schools in the area. Had a very positive learning experience and would highly recommend him.

I had been with 4 other instructors before coming across Ross at Smart Choice Driving School and he was by far THE BEST instructor of them all. After one lesson with him I knew I had found an instructor worth sticking with. I was not a very confident driver at all before starting with Ross and he made me feel the most comfortable and always went the extra mile to provide me with more than enough information to make sure I was road ready. He was so flexible with lesson times, makes you feel comfortable as soon as you get in the car, has so many great tips and tricks and such a solid, generous, all-round lovely man. I was looking to get my Malaysian license transferred to an Aussie one and was lucky to come across Smart Choice.

Having driven an automatic car for the last 12 years and wanting to do my test on a manual car, I proved to be a bit of a challenge as I had driving habits built up over the years which aren't accepted in WA.

Ross was my instructor and he's extremely patient, kind and funny. More importantly, you can tell that he's a highly experienced instructor - his instructions were very precise and clear.

Ross is very sharp to detail, and he picked up the mistakes that I made during the lessons. He was able to tell me as I made the mistakes that the action would cause a fail, and I was able to avoid making those mistakes.

I took two lessons on the day of my test, adhered to his advices and passed my practical assessment without much difficulty.
