HOPELESS QUALITY CONTROL AND REPAIR SERVICE

SORRY TO SAY BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. The product and the quality of service was fine. Hoewer there was a fault in the material on one of the slates. It should not go out of the factory like this. It took 6 weeks for someone to came and pick it up. At the time i was told that it will take 2 weeks to fix it which is ridiculous to change one slate but now I was just told that it is going to be 6 weeks . As it's going over Easter it's embarrassing having the paper blind on one part of the window, so much for showing of the new blinds. Not happy !!!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERMS & CONDITIONS

Do not use this company you will regret it



Ordered blinds in February totalling over $3000.00 for outside blinds constantly chasing up delivery & install date after due date never them calling us to update. Finally rang them after easter to see if blinds are ready informed they are ready but full payment was to be made prior to install. Informed them that i would like to see the goods supplied and fitted prior to paying them the full amount was informed that you pay for a washing machine before getting it. After reading a lot of other reviews about this company made me feel very worried about purchasing these blinds. After contacting consumer affairs regarding their terms and conditions i refused to pay for the blinds before sighting them. As i paid by credit card was able to get a refund for my deposit by visa as the company did not dispute Visa Australia within the 45 days i wonder why? We spoke to this company on numerous occasions explaining to them on day of installation we will contact them and pay over the phone by credit card but they refused and wanted payment up front. Due to their poor company terms and conditions they have lost a sale over $3000.00 and have custom made blinds that where made and can not be used. We finally got contact after we received our deposit back from Visa Australia asking why we where so unhappy with the company after many conversations prior stating we will pay for the blinds once installed to insure goods supplied in good working order and are correct.

VERy, VERY, VERY, VERY BAD TREATMENT

We did all the right things, answered their surveys, read their updates and even provided feedback as requested. But the relationship ended when WE WANTED HELP. All that happened was that the chain broke on a roller blind ( one of many that we had installed!) I phoned up for advice as to how to join the chain but was told I had to submit an internet form with photos! Got a response I quote "We'll be in touch shortly within 5 business days Monday to Friday (generally quicker than that) to help find a solution". TEN WORKING DAYS LATER - NOTHING. I phoned, nothing but platitudes and no answer as to the delay. Had to explain the entire event chain again, luckily referring to my email and their written response. Finally said send me a new chain if you have too ( I was only after a repair) and I will fix it myself, if you can send a fact sheet. This did happen....3 days later....took down the blind, with much difficulty, blind is almost 3 metres by 2 metres - I am over 70. Blind fitting around chain and video replacement instruction different. Phoned up, explained issue again, told her that the window ( now no blind) was a big front window, where we sit in the evening....we are now open to all observers and any heat we can conjure up ( in this freezing period ) is now disappearing because we have no blind. Nothing could be done until tomorrow, Received an SMS confirming this appt. actually naming the technician who would arrive between 11 and 2pm. We stayed in the whole time ( as you do). Guess what = 1.55pm nothing, so I phoned explained entire issue yet again ( to someone else). Installer was contacted...seems he knew nothing about it., was not in his diary, not coming. How about tomorrow between 1 and 4!!!!!!! Tried to put the blind back up so we could have some privacy this evening and keep a bit warmer...fell off the ladder - blind too big and heavy and hard to line up in the brackets and keep it from unrolling. I now have pain in my shoulder and back...THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!!!!!!

Original confirmation of my problem from them is dated July 10, tomorrow will be July 27!!!!!!!!!!!

The treatment we have received has been shocking, horrific, horrifying, horrible, terrible, awful, dreadful, ghastly, hideous, horrendous, frightful, atrocious, abominable, abhorrent, outrageous, hateful, loathsome, odious, gruesome, grisly, monstrous, nightmarish, heinous, harrowing, dire, vile, shameful, unspeakable, unforgivable, unpardonable AND WE STILL HAVE THE PROBLEM

Very very disappointed on the service provided

Really disappointed on the installation date. I would give negative stars if I could. They promised guaranteed installation date and apparently incomplete installation seems ok on their side. They took full amount on the day but did not install everything. Its been a month since then and they are still pushing me around and still can not provide a date of final installation.



Very very disappointed on the service provided. I DO NOT recommend them.

I ordered my 3 external blinds. Notified the Blockout Blinds in writing that I changed the colour of the weather boxes. They acknowledged my changed. They finally installed 3 weeks later than promised after you must pay in full up front for your order or they will not install. They installed the wrong colour weather boxes and left a mess all over my front door step after being promised that the installers would clean up after the installation as that is part of the service.

After numerous emails and phone calls I am still waiting 6 months later for the error to be rectified. They have blamed the error on an ex staff member. I have had contact with Blockout Blinds twice since that particular staff member has left and they still did nothing to rectify their error.

I have finally had contact from Blockout Blinds after writing a nasty email a week ago. I have had a promise they will fix BUT I am not happy. It should not have got to that stage.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
