Discussed treatment at Reception

We have been going there for at least 15yrs and have had 85th birthday there and booked lots and lots of rooms for others in our family spent 1000s of dollars there accommodation, meals drinks.We booked a stay before our trip to NZ and return. We had to change our return date to a day before the original date. We rang from the ship though guest services tk confirm the change , we were told not a problem all 3 rooms will be rebooked, also for easy check in coming in from long flight from Sybney. Not a problem! We also confirmed the morning before we left Sydney. When we got there Shuttle bus back ti hotel exhausted we find at the desk we didn't have a booking,we explained who we spike too all they said we are sorry and couldn't help. We live in Bunbury we just wanted place to rest swim recover have nice feed. Bur no chance the reception manager became rude so we had a talk with the manager of hotel that we know he just said what can I do,all I can do is tall to James that was on nights when we change the booking,so it won't happen again. We were quite upset and tierd he never even offed a cold drink to sort it out. Nothing so we drove back to Bunbury exhausted and feeling sick this had happened in our special away place.
