Bendigo Fish 'N' Feathers

At first I was happy with my purchase of a blue tongue lizard. She was an incredible addition to my family. We instantly fell in love with her. But quickly after purchasing her, we realised that she had mites. And since we don’t have reptiles already, the only way she would have gotten them if by at Fish n’ Feathers when I brought her.



I treated her for the mites and everything seemed to be fine again. At least I thought.



It appeared that I also brought her with a respiratory issue as well as other unidentifiable issues. 4 weeks after, and after nearly spending $1000 in vet bills, she passed away.



Fish n’ Feathers, I blame you! Not only is the reptile cages kept at too low of a temperature (25°, not 30°-35°) but all your blue tongues also aren’t stored correctly. There was far too many lizards in the one tank (nearly 15 in a tiny tank!). How are you meant to monitor them all like that? How are you ensuring that each of them is getting enough food? You should be ashamed of yourselves!



Perhaps find a better breeder to buy off and actually care for those reptiles you get.
