Poor communication, poor diagnosis and quite a few $$$ later my car was running much worse after they 'fixed' it. Even after I took it back they had my car four days and didn't touch a thing. The owner couldn't really have cared less and was extremely unhelpful. Also couldn't fix a small problem with my fan that I had asked twice for them to (was suggested it was something to do with my brake system), it wasn't and my husband ended up fixing it himself (took a $9 part, youtube clip and 10 minutes).

As a single mother, I am always worried about being 'ripped off' by mechanics. These guys were absolutely fantastic. Every employee I spoke to was thorough, polite and had safety as a priority. They kept me informed over the 3 days my van was with them, and I felt I could completely trust that my vehicle was in good hands. Paul the owner was honest and professional, and the communication I had with him and his team was completely reassuring, they were happy to show me their work and explain their decisions. I came away knowing that I had not been ripped off and that my van was safe and had been professionally serviced and fixed.

I would not recommend Berwick Auto Electrics. I have delt with them on a couple of occasions, and each time they have tried to charge more than required. My last dealings with them was for a road worthy certificate for my 5 year old car. I was told it needed a part changed that was to cost $900. We ended up going to another mechanic to do the work - with Berwick Auto signing off on it. It so happened that the part was not badly worn, and did not need to be changed for road worthy. The part manufacturer even commented that these parts do not need to be changed until around 90000km - my car had only clocked 48000km. They are untrustworthy and dishonest.
