Berwick Flowers

Went in store to buy my mum flowers for her birthday. The arrangement was beautiful and service was exceptional, well priced.

Recently ordered a Funeral cask arrangement. Explained I wanted mostly purple Singapore Orchids, with white Singapore's and some white Roses. I am an ex florist myself so I knew what I was after and thought I'd explained myself clearly. The reason for the orchids was so that would cascade over the sides. You pay good money for these arrangements so I expected to get what I asked for and if it was not possible to at least be told. This was also organised 4 days before the funeral so I knew getting flowers in time shouldn't have been a problem.

Anyway although everyone loved the arrangement and it was purple and white it had No Purple Orchids and a few White ones, it did have some white roses. I walked into the Chapel and found it very disappointed that it was not the flowers or the shape I had asked for. It is a beautiful shop which is why I decided to go with them, but now reading the other reviews it appears they maybe ignorant to their customers request..

After viewing the website, we ordered a floral arrangement over the phone.

We asked for our arrangement to be based on a picture from their website, but larger as it looked quite small. The woman that answering the phone was actually very nice and accommodating.

However, our friend received a massive arrangement that looked nothing like the picture. And to be honest, it didn't even look that nice, which was disappointing.

We'd never visited the store and only ordered from them online as our friend lives in Berwick. If you're not in store to order and view the arrangement, I wouldn't recommend this florist. Sorry to be so harsh.
