In summary, very unprofessional.



To keep it concise, I provide three examples:



1. Dr Shapiro reprimanded me for being too early for my second appointment - he failed to ask why I rang the door bell to his office in the first place, if he had he would have realised the door to his waiting room was locked (which he eventually did ask).

2. Dr Shapiro failed to send me the gap payment after my first appointment - I had to remind him after my second appointment to do it.

3. Worst of all, after our second and final appointment (I decided I didn’t want to proceed for personal reasons) Dr Shapiro said he’d provide me the details of a more appropriate Dr I needed to speak to. He never contacted me again even after I text messaged and emailed him about the contact he was supposed to provide.



What a sorry state of affairs that a mental health professional behaves like this.
