A job searcher applied for a position through your company MEGT Brisbane. She was shortlisted and went to an interview with the company. Notified that they would get back to her in a week as they had one more interview to do.

7 working days after the interview the applicant contacted MRGT to enquire about the position. She was told that someone would call her back to discuss her application. 2 days have now passed, without a return phone call.



Is it MEGT recruitment in Brisbane office, policy not to call applicants back if they were unsuccessful?? Especially if they were shortlisted for the position.

It is extremely rude and unprofessional not to let applicants know if they have been successful or not.



Young people applying for traineeships and apprenticeships need this kind of feedback to move forward and learn from for future job applications.
