CS Cavity Sliders

Had a cavity slider door installed. However neither my builder nor myself were made aware of the requirement of painting a sealing layer on the door edges. Also the sealed sides of the door will not hold any paint, whether it be primer, undercoat or paint of any kind, as any paintwork just seems to peel off like a skin on the doors surface. This leaves me with a door that I cannot paint to match the rest of my house doors. I am extremely disappointed and will be contacting the ombudsman for further action on what I feel is an incomplete product that has been designed to fail the client/purchaser.
