I had taken my Porsche 986S to various workshops to have the cars geometry properly aligned, unfortunately this was a difficult task! I refused to pay for the various attempts as I wasn't happy with the vehicles behavior and the results.

To my luck I was recommended by my mechanic to see Michael @ Wardsport. So I contacted Michael and after a brief chat I was glad to hear that Michael has the original Porsche alignment equipment to correctly align the car utilising the axels. This is the best way to set the geometry as it eliminates any potential imperfections in the wheels that might be caused by a misfortunite impact, hit, scrape etc... Being the second owner of the vehicle it was also nice to verify that the vehicle didn't appear to have been in any major accidents as the geometry was within Porsche's specs.

The wheel alignment is bang on! The car is much more enjoyable to drive now.. I would recommend Michael's services to any Porsche owner.

I have been using Michael Ward at Wardsport for several years now. He has done all wheel alignments on my Porsches over the past 6 or 7 years and he prepares my BMW for tarmac rallies. He is very knowledgeable, particularly on suspension settings and car handling generally. He has performed many repairs and modifications to my BMW rally car and I rely on him for his excellent service and expert advice. He is also capable of speaking in plain English and explains his work very well to the non-mechanically minded! His patience with me and my constant questions is exceptional. Whenever he is unsure (which is rare), he finds out. He has a great network of contacts to source expert information and the latest performance and after-market parts, plus genuine parts, of course. Michael is very accommodating of my needs and often liaises with others in the Brookvale area when my rally car has a series of repairs to be carried out at the same time. I know that he is well regarded by his competitors. It also helps that Michael races his own car, so he understands whats needed for a reliable and fast track or tarmac rally car. I dont hesitate to recommend Wardsport for anything from a regular service to performance modifications for a track or rally car.

Michael was recommended to me by another mechanic and that was a good start as far as I was concerned. I have now been going to Michael for years and I have always found him to be honest, reliable and a great mechanic. He is always looking out for the best interest in me as a customer and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

had some work done, they did an average job BUT put a part on incorrectly when i told them that they had done this they told me that they didn't believe another mechanic had to rectify the problem. Cost me $95.00 to rectify and would not recommend them to any of my friends/colleagues.

My car was just out of warranty with Holden, so I took it to Wardsports, whom was recommended to me by a client. Mike is very thorough & explains everything that he will need to do, or has done. He is very approachable & affordable & I know that my car is in good hands, which is very important, as I commute to & from the Central Coast everyday. Michael has serviced my fathers Ford Lazer not long after it was bought in 1989.The car was always garaged in Dover Heights on the south side of our harbour untill mid 2007.This has since been passed down to me and recently I have had a transmission leak and thought I would be better off going to a Transmission place for a quote.Contacting Michael first proved to me once again how reliable Michael is who looked up past servicing history while I was on the phone as I thought he had mentioned a leak previously.Service is fantastic and very reasonably costed and would recommend to anyone.I also have an immaculate 2005 V8 Berlina wagon and recently a little Daihatsu Terios 2003 that will remain serviced by Micheal at Wardsport always.

I found Mick after having dealt with another mechanic in Harbord who charged over $1000 and didn't even fix my car. I took my car to Mick, he identified the problem in 5 minutes and had it fixed within a couple of hours. I would recommend anyone to see him first, particularly if you don't want to waste your time or money! Thanks Mick your the best!

I found wardsport after the dealer was charging too much and I found some dodgy machenicis in the area, now the whole family takes their car there. Affordable and good quality. Strongly recommended.
