I continued working with Kartaway because the business I took over was already using their services, and I signed the new contract they sent me. It turns out the contract was for three years, but I overlooked that detail — which was my mistake.



After settling into the business, I started to feel dissatisfied with both the service quality and pricing, so I obtained quotes from other companies and noticed significant differences. Some offered much better deals. I contacted the company manager, and after reviewing the documents at the office, he told me he would get back to me. Later, he informed me that I only needed to give four weeks' notice before switching providers. Based on that, I signed a new agreement with another company.



At the end of the four-week notice period, I was told that I couldn't leave before the contract expired. I reminded him that he had previously said four weeks' notice was sufficient — he admitted he made a mistake. But when I mentioned I had already signed with another provider, he simply said, “That’s your problem,” and told me I had to stay with Kartaway until the contract ended.



This was the most unprofessional and unethical comment I’ve ever heard. Not only did he cause this issue due to his own mistake, but he also treated me arrogantly and unfairly.
