so sad to leave....

Have shopped here for past 20 + yrs but how it has deteriorated! Can't buy most of the products I used to so have to go elsewhere. Only buy few items for convenience but other Woolies get the bulk of my business.

Metro decision

What a shame Buderim store is now a metro. Nobody asked the customers what they wanted. Many items now missing from the shelves and way too much pre packaged food. Not right since there is still no recycling of soft plastics. We are now forced to drive to SippyDowns store or Plaza store to get items once readily available in Buderim. Another supermarket will be getting more of our custom now.

Going backwards

Went Metro. Then Woolies found too small. Now adding extra shelves. Now unable to walk around the store because isles can barely allow 1 person to walk through. Grrr. Going to Coles.

Dissapointing deli

Ordered $180. worth of platters last Thursday for a wake & prepaid our order. Deli manager assured my wife & I they would be done 11 to 11.30 am pickup. They were for us to host a wake after funeral and were not ready on time. Deli staff blamed blackout two days before. Most unreasonable. To their credit they made up the order quickly and at least we had food eventually. The wraps were inconsistent with some with just 1 slice of chicken & small leaf of lettuce & no sauce or condiments or even mayonaisse. We will not be shopping at this deli again, the service was non existent and the sad thing is we encountered the very same problem at a nearby Woolies 7 years ago when we had another funeral wake to cater for. A very stressful time was exacerbated by staff not doing there job correctly. As you can imagine I am extremely disappointed & dissatisfied.

Have shopped at this store since it opened.
The staff are all profession & look after all customers.
Have seen them get abused by customers & still stay polite.
Would prefer to shop at Buderim rather then Chancellor Park anytime.
Thank you
