Very bad experience with this dealership.

Purchased a Landrover Discovery and had it transported to Qld.

Once arrived it had very bad shutter in front steering and brakes.

Had Landrover inspect the vehicle and found Hydra bushs in front end, and brake pads worn out.

Brake rotors badly warped and need replacement.

Sent detailed report to Milton as car was still under warranty.

Milton flatly refused to honour warranty

and repair vehicle.

Have worn-out part to show him also to validate reported issues.

Said he is tired of delivering vehicles then having people coming back with issues/problems.

Sounds like this is a common theme.

Would definitely not purchase off this man again or recommend Highbury Automotive.

Had the car inspected by Local Landrover dealership and they found the Hydra Bushes in the front end were worn out and disc brake rotors badly warped.

Had report sent to dealership and they flatly refused to fix under warranty.

We have now had to spend $2700 on making the car safe & drivable.

Owner of business was very dismissive and unprofessional considering how long he claims to have been selling "Quality vehicles "

I recently bought a Volvo through highbury automotive. A big thank you to Milton and family for making it such an easy wonderful transaction. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally. Compared to previous experiences with car dealers this was a unique experience. No high pressure selling or feeling the dealer was only after the $$ sale. A lovely family company to deal with and one I would highly recommend. Thank you Milton - am loving driving my as new car and already sending other people your way :)

I contacted Milton to source some twin cab utes for me. After I found some on carsales I sent him the link and rang him. He told me he would contact me that afternoon regarding 1 car. That was 3 weeks ago. Still waitng for the call. If I didnt purchase the car myself then I wouldve missed out. What a waste of time! He should've told me initally that he wasn't interested. And he was recommended to me! I will not be recommending him for anything.

We have purchased eight cars for the family from Highbury Automotive over an eleven year period, the last one only a few months ago. We have always found Milton and his team to give excellent service during that time. They are always ready to respond to even the smallest problem and correct it. Their after-sales service has been their strong point for us. I have no hesitation in recommending Highbury Automotive to you.

I bought a 2008 volvo c30 there, the pre-purchase service was good. They kept calling me regarding my purchasing.

BUT, the suspension started to make noise within three months after purchase. As I am in Tasmania, I went to a local mechanic to check and identify the problem, and then email their proof to Highbury. Milton promised to arrange a check and call me back, but I never get his response.

I've called them several times over the past two months, but have got no response at all. I now give up, and have to fix the problem myself.

Although the staffs there are friendly, they are helpless in problem solving.

I was extremely disappointed by their after-service, not recommended, especially if you are in another state.

Bought a VW Jetta today from Milton and the car is great, no problems noted, Milton was very accommodating and even picked me up at the train station to get the car. I would definitely buy from this business again and have my car repaired here also. Would recommend this business to anyone looking for Used Vehicles.
