Sun-Herald The

The Sun Herald is the low-brow opponent to the high-brow Age in Melbourne. Originally the Sun was the morning paper and the Herald a more analytic evening paper but now days it is pretty much a simple right-leading tabloid in the Murdoch empire. It has endless pages about the latest football news and details of the latest crimes. You can get through it in about 20 minutes without really trying. The weekend paper is slightly better and has a fairly thick travel section but I will always prefer the Age. The Sun is where most people publish orbituaries.
