Modus Property

I had a very disappointing experience recently with Modus Property. I had arranged for the ballastrating of 6 porch areas to be replaced and painted within an complex of units. The replacement of the wood was of very average quality (which was not mentioned). The problem major problem lied in the quality of the painters workmanship. He visited the complex over three nights between 5 and 7pm. Unfortunately he came to complete the works when the natural lighting was very dim. He missed many areas of the wood, over painted other areas leaving an obvious stripe on other colours, splashed paint into the gardens upon clean up and did not paint the underside or backs of the balastrading.



When this was discussed, a project manager came to view the issues. He agreed that the appalling areas needed to be rectified. Unfortunately the painter did not share the same workmanship as the company promises. He very swiftly dabbed on some paint in areas that did not need it. He left the ballastrading on the porches looking unfinished and quite frankly, embarrassing. Modas have ended discussions about the sub par work and are now quoting section from the W.A guide to Standards.



I would never work with Modus. Their initial communication may be exceptional however they leave a lot to be desired elsewhere. A very disappointing experience that could easily be rectified.
