I bought this bike purely on the strength of being assured that the mileage was 38,565 kms, as stated quite clearly in the ad. See pic.

However, after having the clocks repaired I found the genuine mileage to be 124,553. See pic.

I raised the issue with the seller, and was given a long list of excuses.

We were selling on consignment.

You bought it AS Is,

That's what the owner told us,

Those bikes are good for 300,000kms.

None of which addresses the real problem - fraudulent advertising - which this clearly is.

I Hired a dirt-bike from these guys which unfortunately had an issue when I was out on a track. Whilst this dampened my experience somewhat I was very pleased with the way the business handled what had happened. Rather than putting the blame on me as I suspect some bike hire businesses would do, they accepted responsibility and were very professional and prompt in not only refunding me but also allowing me to upgrade to the next class of motorcycle next time at the cost of the smaller bike. The issue was something which could have happened on any bike and I was pleased to see the business offer service and care for their customers.
