I am so happy with the hair cut and the hair color I got from Vault Hair Salon today. Excellent people and great service. Highly recommend it :)

Definitely not the right place to have a haircut!!! It takes ages for them getting a simple haircut done and the result is not what I want but the staff keeping appraising themselves which is quite annoying!!! And it seems like they charge different price to different people so I pay a lot to a really bad haircut and you know what ? the water they give me has someone's hair in it! so gross!!!

Been with Tess for 20 yrs n love every cut, colour n style. The yrs I have been with her tells it all.

I am SO picky about my hair dressers because I have curly dark hair. I like it bright and vibrant and Love wearing it curly so it's important I get the perfect cut! (People out there with curly hair know what I mean)

I've moved around a lot in search of the perfect mix of fun and proffesional hairdressing that have the skills to match. I found this place and never left! Best hair dresser I've come across so far!

They are always game to mix it up with the hairstyle and colour and are really great and envisioning what will work. They really listen to exactly what you want and deliver every time.

I wouldn't trust anywhere else to do my hair now- and wouldn't want to! This is an experience no one should miss.

Tess is the best hairdresser at highlights that I have ever encountered. She does the most perfect, subtle highlights without making my hair brassy blond. When I get the roots done she manages to streak the same hair as before. So many hairdressers just make you blonder and blonder. And the ammonia free lightener used is not harsh on your hair unlike most bleaches used by other salons. Tess also does a fabulous cut. I always leave the salon happy.

Ive been a longstanding client of Tess' and all i can say is this- She has a great team working with her. Vault Hair uses only the best products, my hair always looks fabulous after leaving the salon.. and it still looks fabulous for weeks after. Im always so impressed with the whole experience i have in Vault Hair. I feel like a Princess!

I haven't been to see Tess and her team for a while (just returned from overseas job posting for six months :|), and oh my god I miss her. This lady has a GIFT. She has given me several hair cuts and colours and she honestly has unparalleled skills. Experiencing her incomparable scissors skills, she puts Edward Scissorhands to shame. She is so effective in the way she consults with you, makes recommendations based on your lifestyle, makes you feel completely comfortable, and is precise and thorough (I've suffered through 3-4 hour colour sessions in my pre-Vault Hair days.... urgh! I've never had any colour bleeds and my haircuts last for 2 months and still look salon-perfect!). Love her.

Seriously, if I could find a man who would give me a cranial massage like that, I'd marry him.

After my sister and best friend have been raving on and on about Tess their amazing hairstylist, I finally booked a re-style and colour there which I badly needed after a rough and stressful summer in grimy, sweaty conditions (mostly trekking through the Blue Mountains, nothing exotic). On a whim, I also opted for the mineral oil treatment because I really needed all the goo of the summer good and gone. And also, who doesn't love bubblegum, eh? (um seriously, the colour and products that are used in this salon smell delicious. I almost swooned in delight!)

I was scared that my stressed, over-coloured hair would break from any more colour work, but Tess told me it wouldn't be like that as she only uses organic and premium natural products and even her lighteners were made in Italy and ammonia-free. Thus less damaging to my hair (I'm nodding wisely here now that I've been educated).

The haircut was really everything it was supposed to be and more. I don't recall seeing the scissors move as Tess worked her magic on my hair chopping off my long straggling mophead to a fashion-forward choppy bob. What a dramatic change! I have never felt nor looked so gorgeous and pampered in my LIFE. Thank you so much. I really do feel that it not only dealt with all the debris of the season, but left my hair much healthier without irritating it. People gave me compliments all week, saying I looked like I was having a great day and you know, if you tell me I look great, I'm going to be having a great day, so they were right!

The scalp massage was heavenly, I literally had a snooze at the basin. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, not pushy at all. Just really passionate about hair.

I purchased a Cudo voucher for a half a head of foils, cut and blow dry for $65 from Vault Salon Chatswood. It sounded great and I was very much looking forward to the experience. HOWEVER I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG!

As I needed this appointment within a week, I phoned the salon to make sure if I bought the voucher that I could be accommodated. I was told that this would not be a problem, so I went ahead and purchased the deal. When I rang the salon to make a booking, I had great difficulty getting the time and day that I needed. This in itself was frustrating and I ended up settling for a time and day that was not satisfactory. This was after I explained the earlier phone call to the salon before I purchased the deal. When I arrived to have my hair done I was welcomed and then met the owner (I am assuming). When I explained I wanted the foils scattered throughout my hair and I didn't want them noticeable or obvious she became EXTREMELY rude. She told me that the voucher only entitled me to half a head of foils and not scattered (which it did not) and that they were SO busy they did not have the time to do what I wanted. I have NEVER experienced such an unprofessional hairdresser in my life. She insulted me by saying You obviously have never been to a hairdresser before and you have no idea what foils are'. She went on to say that I had bought a very cheap deal and that normally it would cost almost $200 for what I wanted done. We had an argument for 15 minutes during which she told to me to leave and get a refund from Cudo as she refused to do my hair the way I wanted. Finally after my standing my ground, she agreed to do my hair the way I wanted it to be done and then she and the other staff went out the back of the salon to discuss me behind me back. Overall, it was a mistake buying this Cudo voucher and having my hair done at Vault Hair Salon, I would absolutely not recommend this salon to anybody and I will most definitely never return.
