Peace in a Pod

The staff were so kind and informative about their services and felt like I was in heaven. Georgia did a fantastic job at the facial and made my eyebrows flawless. 10/10 would definitely go back for those slices :D

Second time there and it was a complete disaster… literally left the place crying and will never go back.



First part was fine (IR sauna) but the float completely sucked. There was some sort of the issue with the light in the room and it wouldn’t go off for more than a few seconds at a time so some light was coming into the pod and I couldn’t relax. Had to dry myself off and find someone to turn the light off in the room, kind of annoying but not the end of the world (no time was added on to my session for the ruined part of the float).



At the end I asked if I could have a discount on the price due to the faulty pod session - I felt this was a reasonable thing to ask as it wasn’t the relaxing experience I had hoped for. This is when it went wrong… an incredibly rude lady started grilling me on what happened then marched off to the room to ‘test the light for herself’, came back and declared loudly that the light was working fine and just glared at me as if she was accusing me of lying. I was completely caught off guard and got a bit upset so just ended up leaving.



I was talking with my husband who had picked me up in the car park when the same lady followed me out and apologised that ‘I felt that way’ (not apologising for the way she acted) which just made me feel worse. She was so aggressive and rude throughout the whole interaction which really got me down. This was a Mother’s Day treat and the first thing I’d done for myself in months - I was pretty shocked it all went the way it did.



She did say she would refund me which hasn’t happened (it’s now over 2 weeks later). Disgusting way to treat people in my opinion.
