NOT great

I attended to 1st aid training and the educator was very rude and disrespectful. That company control their rating on Google, so when you see 5 StAR on Google, it's not. Also they paid people to fake their ratings. Please do not waste your time.

Beware! Watch your bank accounts

Paid for a course, company cancelled it due to lack of venue. Tried to get a refund, filled in refund form, waited almost 1.5 weeks to find out I had been charged a second time. Had to chase that up, got the refund for the second charge but still owed first charge refund.

The amount of drama just to get a refund for a course they cancelled!

But what has me upset is they had no blockage from just taking money out of my account a second time. So once they have access to ur credit card they HAVE access to ur credit card.

Still fighting to get what’s owed to me. As of today, 3/3/23 I have had to file a bank dispute for that amount. The company is flat out denying they charged me twice and my bank has confirmed there were two transactions made by the company.

Watch your bank accounts with this company because their account team is appalling. I am going to pursue legal aid and a lawyer as even though I’ve sent this company countless evidence of the transactions listing their company name on both those transactions, they are in utter denial and refuse any accountability with evidence presented to them.

All staff from our organisation recently participated in the First Aid Course. Our staff feedback was that the quality of training was poor with no technique training and the content was limited with the trainer often skipping slides. There were 4 - 5 people per dummy offering very little time to practice and there was no observation by the trainer in the CPR. The slides were unprofessional with pictures pasted over text and text running off the page. Part of the assessment was done as a class and the remainder was the trainer telling us the answers. The trainer repeatedly expressed personal opinions (not relevant to first aid) bagging out pharmacy prices, etc. Staff reported that it was the type of training you did if you just wanted the certificate...and not the course where you actually learnt how to administer first aid. We've provided our feedback to AWFA and they've offered for our staff to re-attend. We are a not for profit and we already expended 90 hours of labour in having staff attend and cannot afford to so again. They have refused to provide a refund. My suggestion would be to stick with a creditable training organisation that has trained first aid practitioners teaching their courses. It's worth noting on AWFA webpage that they have a price guarantee, but unfortunately not a quality one...I was incorrect in assuming that they actually care about people's lives!!

I recently completed my first aid course with Australia Wide First Aid in Perth and I cannot rave about it enough. I was impressed before I even started the course, the customer service team provided me with all the details I needed, they were easy to talk to and answered all my questions. The trainer was knowledgeable and easy to understand, the course was completed in one day and I did not find myself losing interest at all during the day. It was a very interactive training session and provided me with the ability and confidence to perform first aid as required. Thanks Australia Wide First Aid.
