Gem Car Sound & Auto Electrics

Found a camper trailer we wanted to buy a few week before Xmas so needed to get an electronic brake controller fitted in a short timeframe at a very busy time of the year. Gem were fantastic - fitted us in and installed a Redarc Towpro unit for a very reasonable cost and also swapped out the existing trailer plug for a flat 7 pin. Fantastic service!

I would recommend Gem to anyone wanting the truth and a proffessional job. As with everything you get what you pay for and lets not forget there knowlrdge is priceless. Great advice followed by fantastic job. Happy to recommend to those who want to spend the right money for what there trying to achieve or gain. True value for money and a great team to deal with. Its a credit to anyone in Coffs to run a business for as long as these people have. Dont always believe what you read and hear check them out for yourselves. I am positive you wont be disappointed. What sort of business are they running there? Owner was just plain rude and offensive when I asked for an estimate on how much it would cost to install a stereo that I brought elsewhere. I will always tell people to avoid them like the plague now. Good job GEM, and remember, you are NOT the only auto electrician in town.

Incredibly rude and poor service. I called not long along to ask about a head unit installation for a truck. Once finding out that I would be supplying my own head unit, I was told that my "crappy unit would make things harder for them" and the woman that first answered sarcastically said to me "you do know we sell head units?!" Mind you my "crappy" head unit is one of the exact models GEM is currently selling. Lost my business and I will make sure that everyone I know, knows of your pathetic, rude and belittling service. I wouldn't of even given this "business" a star, but yellow pages won't let me post my review without it.

Extremely poor service. The lady behind the counter was happy to book my car in that day to put in a CD player. After I told her I bought it else where she then told me I had to wait until a later date which I was more than happy to do. She then proceeded to go off at me because it is a family run business and I didn't buy from them. I later called the owner to explain what happened and he went off at me saying that the lady behind the counter was in the right.

Very poor service and very rude. The business owner did not help me in any way and had no time for me at all. I resorted to buying the part cheap online and it works perfect.
