Brad was fabulous.



Quickly identified the issue. Thoroughly explained options and completed job in a timely manner. Workmanship was excellent and the area of work was left clean. Cost was very reasonable for what had to be done!

Just for a bit of background, I had another plumbing company come Monday afternoon (the day my gas was switched off) leaving me with a quote of $5000.00 to replace my piping.

In regards to home maintenance my wife and I have had a good run so we kind of accepted the plumbers bad news, the plumber seemed confident in what needs to be done to rectify the issue.



Although mentally I accepted the plumbers bad news, a second opinion was still in the back of my mind, however, also in the back of my mind were my past experiences when it seemed extremely difficult to find and organise a plumber.



So I was about to sign my life away until I noticed on the invoice that the plumber requested an immediate deposit of 50% before commencing. I simply asked if the deposit was usually this high and the reaction from the plumber was arrogant and rude. He abruptly snapped telling me its policy and normal to receive 50%. After a bit of back and forth but keeping myself calm, the plumber suddenly snatched his keys off my kitchen bench and shook his head, informing me I have to pay 50%, or the gas will be locked off under his license. I told him that I had to think about it and I would call him tomorrow. I sensed something was off with him, so I paid the $49.00 call out fee





I called Piceno Plumbing early Tuesday morning with Brad answering the phone within a few rings.



I explained how my gas meter had been turned off due to a leak.

Brad was able to book me in the same afternoon- he offered me a 2 hour window for his arrival, with the reassurance that he would contact me 30 minutes prior to his arrival, which helped tremendously as I had errands to run.



Brad called 30 minutes beforehand, arrived spot on- and took him 15 minutes to find the leak which was located under the cook-top, behind the electric oven. (apparently its very common).



I couldn't believe my ears when Brad announced that the job was done, in under an hour mind you. I asked about my gas piping and whether the home needed all the pipes replaced-



and wait for it-



Brad responded with;

'No, they dont need replacing, infact all your gas piping has already been replaced in the past and is now all copper.



There are old obsolete bits of galvanised piping alongside the home, which Brad explained was the old gas pipe and is not in use.



The over all charge for the repair and testing of the gas was $136.70, included was a tax invoice and certificate, my wife and I continue our lucky streak... Thanks Brad

I tried contacting the original plumbing company multiple times, at first I thought maybe the first plumber with the absorbent quote perhaps mistook the galvanised pipe for my current gas line, but after totally shunning me off and ignoring my emails and calls, I come to the conclusion I was targeted for a scam.

Repaired and serviced gas heater and hot water unit.



Piceno plumbing were punctual courteous and a delight to hire. They are great plumbers and people and provide an awesome service.



Look forward to the new toilet suite installation that we have organised for next week.

Very prompt with checking if all my taps had pressure. Checked temperature and he even and tightened a loose toilet seat for me.



Brad serviced my hot water heater and was very courteous and tidy. Also he kindly wore boot covers inside house.

I thought Brad and Carl were terrific coming over at short notice, as they were working in the area. They reconditioned my 10 bathroom taps & changed the washers, (lovely friendly men). But when I checked the taps, the shower tap would not turn on, so Brad tried with his equipment and the tap handle snapped off ! ....That tap was working well before that plumbing service.....

Brad accepted responsibility for the damage and reassured me that he would replace the tap handle within the next day or two. Unfortunately, I paid Brad the full amount in cash, trusting that he would keep his word and return that week.

Now, after several promised appointments and no shows, Brad hasn't returned. In fact, he's not answering my calls either. What does one need to do to get Piceno Plumbing to replace the broken tap handle Brad promised to fix. In fact he said he had a spare one at home. I can't use that shower now. I have relatives visiting soon and need that shower to be working.

I hope this message alerts others to the dangers of paying for a job before they're completely satisfied. This is the sort of experience that gives tradesmen a bad name. I trusted that Piceno Plumbing would return to repair their damage, but the words on their fridge magnets and business cards "We Pride Ourselves on Reliability" are a joke.....

We had an emergency burst pipe so we called Piceno Plumbing.



We are so pleased with Brad & Carls work as well as their approach. From the initial inspection, discussion and options put forward expertly by Brad, to the top quality work done by Carl, we couldnt believe our luck to find a plumbing company so prompt, friendly and polite,

Got them to install a tap next to the water meter ,pipes are leaking called them multiple times carl said he would come around to fix it never showed up
