The Fox Hotel 1887

The Fox is a great pub that's far away from the centres of Brunswick and Smith to ditch the obnoxious crowd. There are several spacious rooms, a rooftop, and a ping pong table outside. They get a DJ in on some nights who does a passable job, and on weeknights you can just chill out on a couch and start up a game of scrabble or one of the other board games piled up.

They also let you book out the back room, which my friend did for her 30th. We had a great night and were given plenty of attention by the staff at the dedicated bar window.
