We had a skylight installed by Brian Murphy Skylights in one of our bathrooms in March 2016 for $2200. This did not include the framework needed to complete the job on the inside - we had to pay a carpenter to do that work at extra expense.
Three months later in June 2016 we had our first leak after some heavy rain.
After numerous phonecalls and an email Isaac arrived to apply some silicon to the surrounds of the skylight.
After another leak in early 2017 we again contacted Isaac to report the same problem. By this time they had a history of ignoring calls, not returning calls and not showing up at prearranged times. He finally arrived to have a look but said he'd like to ask his father for an opinion on how to fix the problem. Another month passed before Isaac returned with his father.
Their assessment was to fashion a large Colorbond shield to the length of the skylight and the wall of the house so rain couldn't fall on the side of the skylight where the leak appeared to be. That was March 2017..the skylight has still not been fixed nor have we had any further communication from Isaac or Brian Murphy.
I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone. They have no idea of customer service, their work is sub standard and i am at a loss to understand how they run a business and treat their customers with such disregard.

After the instalation of two skylights i was invoiced more than i was quoted. The job was so poorly done it leeked and i had to get them back on over more than half a dozen ocasions to repair their work. Most of the repair work was silicon applied around the skylights. They avoided phone calls and promised to show up and rarely did. The damaged that ocurred to the gyprock ceiling and even wooden floor from the water leeking for over a YEAR was substantial! In the end i got a professional company to come and redo the work fixing the incorrectly installed flashing. It cost me over $3000 to get it repaired. So all up i am out of pocket over $5000!!!!! And i cant afford to fix the damage caused by the year of leeking water. The stress this caused to me was horrible. I have a report and photos. I was going to take it to the department of fair trading but In the end it was all too much for me.
